Our Preference: Buy XAUUSD above 1746.50 with strict stop loss of 1740 and profit target at 1760 with extension towards 1769. 

Alternate Scenario: Downward penetration of 1740 will call for 1734 and 1629.

NOTE: XAUUSD is moving in a bullish price channel towards expansion of its recent correction.
